Canon EOS 60Da DSLR
Specialist camera for Astrophotography
The Canon EOS 60Da DSLR, released in Spring 2012, is a must for Astronomers needing a camera to capture those special moments seen through their telescope or indeed photographers wanting to extend their hobby to Astrophotography. Following in the popularity of the EOS 20Da, the EOS 60Da is tailor made just for astrophotography. It’s designed to ensure accurate depictions of the reddish hues when photographing diffuse nebulae in the night time sky with the increased infrared sensitivity of hydrogen-alpha (Hα) lines (656nm). With the same advanced features of the EOS 60D DSLR, including a Vari-angle 3.0-inch Clear View LCD monitor for Live View compositions, an amazing 18.0 Megapixel CMOS sensor, an ISO range of 100-6400 (expandable to 12800) and more, the EOS 60Da is both capable and simple. Perfect for long exposures while gazing up into the sky, there’s nothing like the Canon 60Da.
When buying the Canon 60Da extras included in the box are the RA-E3 remote controller adapter, great for timed exposures greater than 30 seconds, plus an AC-E6 AC adapter kit forwhen no mains power is available.
For a Full Specification go to EOS 60D DSLR. Of course with a suitable IR Cut Filter the Canon 60Da can be used as a normal camera.
